The Mockingbird and the Song Sparrow

Our story takes place in a great tree and within the tree many species of bird shared it's branches. Among them were Ms. Mockingbird who lived to impress with her imitations and songs. And then there was little Ms. Song Sparrow who stayed quite humble and although didn't have such an impressive song as Ms. Mockingbird, did her best to sing her own songs. The other birds put on a contest to see who could sing the best within the tree. Ms. Mockingbird was the first in line to accept the challenge while Ms. Song Sparrow agreed to enter just to have fun.
It was Ms. Mockingbird who went first, imitating other animal calls and giving it her all with her songs. She laughed and scolfed at Ms. Song Sparrow.
"You can't win! I can imitate sirens, pianos, and even barking dogs! While you are just a common everyday sparrow, I am a unique one of a kind type bird! Do your best but no doubt who the winner is here!"
Ms. Song Sparrow nodded and replied, "I shall do my best and enjoy what I do."
And as Ms. Song Sparrow began to sing, she gave it her all and sang all 20 songs that a sparrow knows to sing. She smiled when she was though and all the birds in the tree cheered. For Ms. Sparrow, didn't boast but did take pride in who she was and what she could do.
